iBangle: Fantastic future iPod-下一代的華麗ipod-iBangle
When it comes to iPods and other MP3 players, not much has changed about them in the past few years. Sure, the memory is getting better all the time, but the design is the same: they clip on the belt and the obligatory wired earplugs.
This iBangle design concept is a little bit daring as the design fits right on your wrist instead of clipping to your belt. Don’t let its loose look fool you, the iBangle won’t easily slip off like other “clip-on” MP3 players. Apparently, that tiny blue button that you see in the illustration somehow fills the blue area with air, so it fits snug, but hopefully not too snug.
As for the earphones, forget about it! The audio sound is transmitted via wireless earbuds. So how do you navigate through tracks, you may ask? Just use the multi-touch track pad.
Now, if only it had a way to play video files. Perhaps a screen could be put on it, and the iBangle could pass for a watch.
Too bad this iBangle remains only a concept from designer Gopinath Prasana. Apple, this could easily be the next big thing for MP3 Players, so please feel free to put one million iBangles into production.
對於ipod及MP3這類產品領域來說，這幾年來沒有什麼大改革。當然，容量總是越來越大，但造型設計卻總是了無新意：夾在背帶上、有線的耳機。天啊!不要再被這種容易脫落產品玩弄拉~蘋果推出iBangle絕對不會像其他「夾式」MP3一樣容易脫落。從圖片上可以很明顯的看到，那個像藍色按鈕的設計可以讓藍色區域填滿空氣，如此一來帶起來會很舒適， 不過希望不要太軟才好。XD
至於耳機部分，終於可以擺脫它拉。聲音透過無線耳塞來傳輸。但是你一定想問，怎麼操作音樂播放，只要利用上面的觸控板就好啦。
未來，如果iBangle要進步到可以撥放影片，或許加上螢幕後會變成iwatch。
可惜iBangle現在還是在概念設計階段(設計師為Gopinath Prasana)。蘋果阿~~這樣產品恐怕一定會顛覆MP3的傳統，所以放大膽直接量產100萬台吧~~

Nintendo sees overseas DSi launch by next summer-DSi有望於明年夏季於美國上市
Nintendo’s tip-toeing around an overseas, US release date of its new DSi handheld has now been narrowed to the summer of 2009, according to president Satoru Iwata. That’s a whole lot better than 『well into』 2009 if you ask us. Meanwhile, Japan gets theirs starting Saturday for ¥18,900 or about $192 tax-inclusive — that’s up from $178 earlier this month thanks to a skyrocketing Yen. Nintendo has already shipped 200,000 of the slimmer, dual-cam handheld consoles in preparation for weekend sales with another 100,000 planned for the following week. Clearly there’s no such thing as an economic slowdown in the land that Mario built.

If you’ve ever wished you could email a girl you thought was cute that you saw once in real life, you’ll like this new technology. W-41 allows for you to access the person’s facebook, myspace, blog or whatever else she has registered to this site. How it works is you would have to have the technology downloaded onto your phone, then when you see someone wearing the t-shirt with the logo you’d have to take a picture of it. Keep in mind you’d have to be close enough to do this.
If you want other people to be able to find you, you’d have to buy some of their clothing. They have three different shirts for guys and three for girls. One of the down sides is that yes, you could meet some new people this way, but you could also get a few creepy emails as well. There is also the annoying factor of knowing that someone is likely going to attempt to take your picture on their phone. Then if you don’t live in a large city, it’s highly unlikely anyone will know what the strange symbol on your back means. Either way, it’s still a cool way to meet new people. The shirts aren’t too expensive, but still a little pricey t-shirts are $49 and sweatshirts are $56. Thedownload for you phone is completely free though

We first caught wind of a slightly revamped PSP months ago, and the long-awaited handheld — complete with a new, fancier and in some cases more dreadful display — finally hit US shelves this month. For those that picked one of these up and have spent some quality time digging into the latest firmware, how are you liking things? 還在用茶包泡茶嗎？don’t be old jerk!
It’s not a secret that many people like tea. Some of them even have certain traditions concerning tea drinking process. Yet, it doesn’t mean that no innovations are needed in this domain. People try to change everything in order to simplify their life. And that’s not an exception. A Chinese inventor Lee Yuen Qin designed tea 『stick』 – a new type of disposable tea bags. The production of this item is almost the same as that of usual tea bags, because materials used are similar. The only difference is its design. The main idea of Chinese designer consists in a will to combine two processes: brewing and stirring. But at the very beginning there was a serious problem – Lee Yuen Qin didn’t know what material this 『stick』 should be made of. In case it was soft, the stick wouldn’t be able to keep its shape. If it was too dense, no brewing would be possible. The solution for this problem was found unexpectedly – while designer was drinking coffee. He suddenly understood that a small plastic stick can be put inside the bag in order to prevent changes in its shape. After that Lee Yuen Qin patented his new invention. Now it’s prepared for the commercialization. It’s quite an interesting innovation, isn’t it? I think a lot of people will find it funny to use tea 『sticks』 instead of tea bags. Moreover, it seems that they are easier-to-use.
現今喜歡喝茶的人越來越多，甚至許多人遵循著傳統飲茶文化。然而，這並不意味著這塊領域不需要創新。人們總是嘗試各種方式來簡化生活，當然飲茶也不能例外啦！
來自中國的發明家李秦元於是設計出「茶棒」- 一種新型的沖泡茶包，和大部分的茶包幾乎沒什麼兩樣，所用的材質幾乎一樣，唯一不同的地方就是他的造型拉。這個玩意的發想來自於設計師一開始想將攪拌和沖泡這兩個步驟融合在一起。
一開始，設計師就碰到了一樣難題，他不知道這支「茶棒」要用什麼材質製成，要是利用柔軟材質，棒子很容易會變形；若太過於稠密，茶就不容易泡開。最後的解答最令人意想不到，某日當設計師啜飲咖啡時，忽然發現塑膠攪拌棒可以放置在茶包內防止茶棒變形。設計師李秦元已經為這項發明申請專利拉，目前正在準備商品化。這真是一項有趣的發明，不是嗎? 我想當消費者發現他們可以使用茶棒而非茶包時，應該會會心一笑吧！除此之外，看起來似乎比傳統茶包更易上手使用呢！

We know they’re hitting the streets, and we’ve already seen some unboxing pics and a nasty gutting, but we felt we needed to give Sony’s new PSP-3000 the proper Engadget treatment. As you can tell by the photos, there’s not much new here, though as you should know, the guts are where it’s all going down (new screen, built-in microphone).
